As I recall the statement from the ranking member, he said these incidents were not new to them. Some of these had been raised before. One was regarding Cuba. They had knowledge of this. Again, I would defer to the good judgment of the chair of the Intelligence Committee, who said we looked at it and it wasn't relevant. And then on and on in the letter again, and again he comes to the same conclusion: nothing inappropriate, nothing unusual, no violation of procedures. It is very clear. I urge my colleagues to let us pursue this issue. I don't think there is a reasonable basis for holding up this confirmation based on the concern of getting this type of information.
