Watson Coleman: “What are the consequences of not getting someone to do the right thing?”

They are confronted with all kinds of possible dangerous situations; but they show up, and their purpose is to keep us safe.

I strongly support this legislation. I co-sponsored it last Congress and look forward to having an opportunity to move it forward this Congress.

We agree that these employees are entitled to greater protections, greater dignity and respect for the work that they do.

Although I doubt that anyone would disagree with making sure that Federal firearms are secure, this hearing seems to me to be a bit of a red herring.
