I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle H of title X, add the following new section: SEC. _. PROHIBITION ON EXPORT OF AIR TO GROUND MUNITIONS, RELATED COMPONENTS AND PARTS OF SUCH MUNITIONS, AND RELATED SERVICES TO SAUDI ARABIA AND THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. (a) In General.--For the one-year period beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act, the President may not issue any license, and shall suspend any license or other approval that was issued before the date of the enactment of this Act, for the export to the Government of Saudi Arabia or the Government of the United Arab Emirates of any air to ground munitions, related components and parts of such munitions, and related services. (b) Waiver.--The President may waive the prohibition in subsection (a) for any instance of license denial or suspension that shall result in a cost to the Federal Government. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 476, the gentleman from New Jersey (Mr. Malinowski) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from New Jersey.
