This amendment strikes an earmark for a project requested by myself and Congressman Sires who together represent the town of North Bergen, New Jersey. The funds allocated in this bill would have gone towards the construction of a new public works building in North Bergen, New Jersey, that would have repaired and maintained all of the vehicles for that municipality, as well as all of the fire trucks for the surrounding five towns of Weehawken, Guttenberg, West New York and Union City.
