I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it stand adjourned until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26; that following the prayer and pledge, the morning hour be deemed expired, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day, and morning business be closed; that following the conclusion of morning business, the Senate proceed to executive session to resume consideration of the Jacobs nomination postcloture; that all cloture time be considered expired at 12 noon; that the Senate recess following the confirmation vote until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings; that at 2:15 p.m., the Senate vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Calendar No. 32, S. 326; further, that if the Jacobs nomination is confirmed, the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table and the President be immediately notified of the Senate's actions.
