Can you fathom for a moment the consequences for one of my constituents if they committed even a fraction of what Hunter Biden has done?

There is no clearer example of this than our Federal government's treatment of Hunter Biden.

I think the rulemaking could go better or could go worse, and we will see how it works out.

This would all place a massive new enforcement responsibility on the United States Coast Guard.

While I hope that NOAA opts for a more moderate approach as they further develop the rule, it is the Coast Guard's responsibility to enforce the rule when it does happen, in any case.
