It is a really huge, dominant problem that we cannot ignore.

Over the past year, thousands of ships have left American ports, devoid of cargo.

In the event of a conflict with China...the United States needs a strong industrial base independent of Chinese supply chains.

China produces 96 percent of the world's shipping containers.

Hackers, who are primarily located in Russia, have developed sophisticated methods of infiltrating the Federal Government.

The current levels of ransomware attacks can be compared to the challenges proposed by the September 11, 2001 attacks.

The attack on Colonial demonstrates the need to shore up our cyber defenses through initiatives such as public-private partnerships.

I am here to advocate for a long overdue and much-needed Army Corps of Engineers project.

This bill needs to be an infrastructure package for all Americans.

In order to make this an infrastructure package for all Americans, the bill must be bipartisan.

I hope we do because America is watching. And this is truly our chance to show America that we still, at least in some ways, can function.

We are forced to ponder Thomas Jefferson's grim directive that for the good of our Nation, the tree of liberty must be refreshed with the blood of tolerance and traitors.
