It is amazing how basic these things are and yet we are getting the opposition from the other side. And that is what the public needs to know, is that there will be an array of very, very powerful special interests that are organizing, taking their resources, vast resources, to try to put an end to managed care reform. And what the public needs to know is if they do not want that to happen, that they need to get engaged in this process; that they need to be in touch with those of us who serve on their behalf; that they do not want this to happen; that they do in fact want managed care reform and that opportunity for choice, for confidentiality, and for knowing what their options are when they are ill, no matter whether their insurance plan covers that particular option.
