Thank you, Mr. Berman. I want to take issue with my colleague from Ohio. I don't think there is a comparison between the situation in Iraq and Iran because it has become abundantly clear that Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons; and a nuclear Iran would not only threaten the United States but democratic nations all across the globe. The legislation before us builds on the comprehensive Iran Sanctions Act passed last Congress and imposes new and stronger sanctions, and this bill is the next logical step in U.S. policy to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. The Iranian President, a Holocaust denier, has stated that a nuclear Iran would use the weapons at its disposal and has even called for the destruction of the State of Israel. And I don't think we can let a nuclear Iran become a reality. I would urge my colleagues to vote ``yes'' on H.R. 1905. {time} 2050

If Delaney Hall cannot be operated in compliance with federal law and the Constitution, GEO Group should not continue to profit from taxpayer dollars and Delaney Hall should be closed.
