I just wanted to take note of the fact that some of us on the Energy and Commerce Committee were in executive session on a very important national security matter, and we were told that the first vote this evening was going to be held for us for a few minutes so we could get down here and vote. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I was upset by it. It was obviously a miscommunication from the floor. However, I do want everyone to understand that those of us who were not able to vote on that first matter this evening did so because of the executive session on national security, and it was through no fault of our own that we missed that first vote. ____________________
