The Congressional Award is given to individuals whose accomplishments and dedication to their communities exemplifies the best qualities of the future.

It’s also exactly why I fought to strengthen and reauthorize the BEACH Act earlier this year — because protecting public health and protecting the Shore go hand in hand.

I will keep fighting to ensure New Jersey organizations have the federal resources they need to continue this work.
