The value of military service to our nation cannot be overstated, and I am proud of the commitment that these nominees have shown to serving their country.

I worry that this bill risks isolating teens in unsupportive households by giving their parents control of their online access and exposing teens in bad home situations to harm if their private conversations are revealed to their parents.

It’s also exactly why I fought to strengthen and reauthorize the BEACH Act earlier this year — because protecting public health and protecting the Shore go hand in hand.
