Last year's efforts by some in Congress to force the Federal Government off the fiscal cliff was not only--was a catastrophe for the everyday operation of the national airspace.

It will denigrate the national security of the United States to allow foreign vessels to move our domestic commerce.

These heroes, down to the last person, would reject gaining their release through an unprecedented negotiation with jihadist terrorists that would categorically break American law.

Given the importance of this region to U.S. interests I would think we would want to maintain the best possible intelligence collection capabilities in the theater.
