The amendment (No. 4205), as modified, is as follows: At the end of subtitle A of title VII, add the following: SEC. 707. TEMPORARY PROHIBITION ON INCREASE IN COPAYMENTS UNDER RETAIL PHARMACY SYSTEM OF PHARMACY BENEFITS PROGRAM. Subsection (a)(6) of section 1074g of title 10, United States Code, as amended by section 702(b) of this Act, is further amended by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: ``(D) During the period beginning on October 1, 2006, and ending on September 31, 2007, the cost sharing requirements established under this paragraph for pharmaceutical agents available through retail pharmacies covered by paragraph (2)(E)(ii) may not exceed amounts as follows: ``(i) In the case of generic agents, $3. ``(ii) In the case of formulary agents, $9. ``(iii) In the case of nonformulary agents, $22.''.
