I told you my back was hurting, my feet were hurting. But we had a direct end when Mitch McConnell agreed to give us a vote on commonsense gun safety, which I think every American and most gun owners agree on--just universal background checks. It failed to get 60 votes in the Senate, but you stood and I stood with you. He said to me days ago: If you are going to do this, Brother, I will be your aide-de-camp this time.…
