This law is completely misguided and will make our communities less safe.

I am a law-and-order county executive. I believe in the rule of law, even when it's a bad law.

We have a governor and a legislature [wherein] every major criminal justice initiative makes it easier for criminals to prey on our communities.

If you cooperate with federal law enforcement, it makes for a safer community. That's what I did.
