This legislation is very specific about how we are going to help the middle class. I believe a 5-year extension would be better. I don't believe we should extend any tax cut indefinitely, but I am going to vote for this bill because I refuse to allow the middle class to be the victims of partisan gridlock. America's middle class is the one for which I have come to the floor multiple times over the last 6 months to declare the necessity of taking a vote on these taxes. I went to my own district.…”
