The Credit for Caring Act, introduced by Senators Collins, Hassan, and their cosponsors would provide caregivers with a tax credit that offsets some of the cost of providing care.

However, 57 million Americans still do not have access to a workplace retirement plan.

Senators Hassan and Collins also made progress in this area for military spouses by providing a tax credit to small employers that hire, make eligible, and provide immediate vesting to military spouses.

We can increase Americans' retirement savings by supporting small businesses that offer retirement plans to their employees.
