I cannot tell you what we could do with $21 million for these gaps in our State.

this Committee actually reported out a bill, S. 742, which ensures that Federal employees that defraud the government, commit felonies or other serious misconduct, are not paid bonuses.

You have got a billion dollar problem. You have got a budget of $250 million to cover a billion dollar problem.

In fiscal year 2015, agencies reported improper payment estimates totaling $136.7 billion.

But I think one of the biggest things we could be concerned about--I mean, obviously, that is a huge amount of money, $136 billion.

this dual process is not doing a service to the American people in terms of oversight.

I have suggested this before--this always gets me in trouble.

And it is huge right now. It is unbelievable.

If we just focused on this issue, we could save billions of taxpayer dollars.

So we need to clarify that.

I think it would be helpful if there was some alignment there, just because they have done a lot of good work.
