Today we stood up again for a moment of silence because there was violence in schools, and we know this has happened repeatedly since Newtown. These families are waiting for us to do something. They are waiting for Congress to do something. They don't want us to keep standing up for a moment of silence. They want us to stand up for a vote. I call on Speaker Boehner to bring some legislation to the floor. We have legislation, good legislation that can help prevent some of this terrible tragedy. So let's work together and start addressing this terrible program that is impacting so many people in our country. ____________________
