we're talking about people. We're talking about workers. We're talking about a lot of workers who are earning a wage that none of us would accept.
We shouldn't be sitting here acting shocked that closing the parks was part of closing the government.
I think that speaks to the value and the importance that we put on them, not that we value any of our civilians less, but just that their work is so time-sensitive.
