What is our response to that? Because I think that is really looming large on this industry.

Could you give us some insights on that as well?

We need to stress the education here.

We want to help people get out of poverty.

Forty percent of our corn goes to ethanol, so this is huge, so this is such an important part of the Midwest economy.

Our SNAP is a part of that safety net, and it is intended to be a supplement, but not 100 percent subsidy to offset costs.

As a great nation, we want to live up to our values and our morals and provide a good safety net to protect our citizens.

Most folks in our district want energy independence.

Two-thirds of the gas prices have gone up before the Ukraine invasion.

I would like to just start by saying we are so blessed to live in this great country. We are the greatest of nations.

In Nebraska we have record low unemployment, but half the businesses are looking for employees, so we have a challenge there.

Retail outlets are not going to invest in offering new choices if they don't know if the Administration is going to follow the existing law into the Renewable Fuel Standard.

I was really impressed by the work that they were doing and the impact that that was having on the community.

They feel like they have no voice in this Administration.

During the Presidential campaign, this President multiple times said he was going to be hostile to the fossil fuel industry of our country.

Thank you. I will just simply say I appreciate our three panelists.

Well, thank you, Madam Chairwoman. And thank you to our witnesses for sharing your time, your expertise with this Subcommittee.

We should review that. I think our taxpayers expect us to take a look at that and reduce those costs.

We are yet to see where things will be in 2022.

I was the lead advocate for that in the 115th Congress.

The pandemic has shown us that there are so many different ways to do things, that massive spending does not necessarily lead to desired outcomes.

We live in the wealthiest country in the world, I would say the greatest country in the world, and a great nation provides a safety net and also helps get people out of poverty.
