As you know, we sent a letter requesting that grazing, emergency grazing be allowed on CRP acres. That was granted.

If that is the position of the Department of Justice, that when we actually engage in a friendly discussion, we lose our rights, I would suggest to every State government, they sue you immediately.

The administration, the Office of Management and Budget has committed to me that both OMB and the White House are committed to changing it.

So therefore, it would not make much sense to have a Benefit Cost Ratio at the office of Management and Budget that gives absolutely no credit whatsoever for somebody coming in and putting up half the money for a project.

I appreciate it. And when I see Senator Franken, I will tell him we are working hard on these carbon capture projects.

My request to you is, would you ask your Office of Fossil Energy to expedite the grant funding?

We need to support ag research funding in the budget.

Our farmers and ranchers provide the highest quality, lowest cost food supply in the history of the world.

I want to express my very strong support for agricultural research.

Well, again, I want to thank you for your outstanding work there for many years, in making a real difference.

We have taken that feedback into consideration and have worked with North Dakota Game and Fish to produce language that would also allow them to be conveyed the land that they currently lease.

Senator Hoeven and I have led a lot of efforts on distracted driving and got a bill passed just recently with Senator Thune's help.

I will be brief, but I beg your indulgence.

It is moving too slowly getting these appointments in place and I think we all need to do everything we can to help expedite it.

I think it is a very difficult way to have a transition when you think that almost 9 months later we get the people in place to lead these agencies.
