Mr. Speaker, I would like to remind my colleague from New York, as well as remind all of my colleagues across the aisle, that Republicans have passed over 20 bills this session that would create jobs and have passed bills that would bring down the cost of gasoline. Those are the two things that my constituents are most concerned about. If my colleagues across the aisle are talking to their constituents or, more importantly, are listening to their constituents, they would know that's what their constituents are concerned about also. However, those bills are tied up in the Democrat-controlled Senate. I now would like to yield 5 minutes to my distinguished colleague from South Carolina, who did such a wonderful job on C-SPAN this morning, Mr. Gowdy.
