Some places, though, are fortunate to have the choice of having charter schools and Catholic schools. It is important that citizens continue to have these choices, particularly because of the excellent record that Catholic schools have in this country. This coed college prep high school is located in Kernersville, North Carolina, in the heart of the Triad. St Leo's is a K-8 Catholic school located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, built in 1953.
