Mr. Chairman, as our economy continues to recover and evolve, it is critical that job seekers have the resources needed to gain the skills they need to compete for in-demand jobs. That was the aim of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act that we passed in 2014, and my amendment encourages State agencies to coordinate with their workforce boards to continue these efforts. My amendment also would improve the information participating States submit about their demonstration projects, providing important data for decisionmakers in the future. I thank my colleagues for their consideration and ask for their support of this amendment and the underlying bill, and I yield back the balance of my time. The CHAIR. The question is on the amendment offered by the gentlewoman from North Carolina (Ms. Foxx). The amendment was agreed to. Amendment No. 2 Offered by Mr. Bost The CHAIR. It is now in order to consider amendment No. 2 printed in House Report 115-187.
