Mr. Speaker, I yield myself such time as I may consume. I want to take the opportunity to thank my colleague from Colorado for the work that he has done on charter schools, for understanding the very important nature of charter schools and for bringing his expertise to this issue. I also want to thank him for acknowledging the bipartisan effort that has gone into bringing this legislation to the floor and for the very good way that we have gone through regular order to bring this bill to the floor. I appreciate that little history that he has given us. I now would like to yield 2 minutes to the gentleman from Washington (Mr. Reichert), my classmate and colleague.
