Voting to confirm Pete Hegseth is the biggest regret of my career.

I made a mistake. I’ve admitted that I made a mistake.

That was 86 votes, if I remember. That’s a universal position of the U.S. Senate. And the president’s actions and his comments over the last 24 hours are the exact opposite of the intent of that bill.

It’s another example of what Pete Hegseth and all of his bravado needs to get the hell out of the Department of Defense because he is a failed leader.
