Richard Burr: “Thank you, Mr. Chairman, and I thank my colleagues.”

I urge my colleagues, don't make this mistake. I know there is great pressure to do Build Back Better. But this is not the right bill.

There is no Member that has defended the FDA more than this one and there is no Member in Congress that has tried to fix areas when they are broken than this one.

I went through a litany in my opening statements of the deficiencies in what FDA committed to and what they missed.

I think we should all be able to agree, the status quo on childcare is not meeting the needs of our constituents.
