It is time that we modernize our election system in this country and stop playing all these silly games based on race.

What we want is integrity. We don't want power. We want integrity.

What is going on in this room right now is all about this right here and the power grab that it ensues.

We need to stop this at the insinuation that somehow the people in Washington, DC, know better than the people in North Carolina.

Absolutely the States should remain in charge, because, from my vantage point, we are looking at a bill here that is 880 pages--some 880 pages of a partisan, unconstitutional power grab.
