This resolution would have prohibited the total outlays for fiscal years from exceeding our total receipts.

Without reforms immediately we will never be able to honor the commitments made by this government to our seniors and those most vulnerable.

I am infuriated. I am disappointed. I am very frustrated.

I suggest we have a mechanism of accountability for votes we cast that increase the deficit and debt.
