We always want to save any bird possible, but this is somewhat of a bird-brained interpretation of what the rule is meant to do. I recognize the importance of electric cooperatives in rural America and will work with the gentleman and gentlewoman to ensure that the Fish and Wildlife Service continues to work closely with the electric power industry to resolve this issue in a mutually beneficial manner.
