Currently, North Carolina A&T, which is an 1890 institution, receives less state-matching funding for grants from NIFA than their fellow 1862 institutions in the state.

I am very concerned about that. It would also result in a decrease in the funding available for technological improvements for SNAP.

I have seen firsthand the issues of food insecurity just in my district, and even my state ranks high in food insecurity.

President Trump's budget, however, would zero out and severely cut funding for those vital international programs.
