Let the police or somebody clarify that. This speculation, innuendo is almost like a tabloid feeding frenzy.

This police agency never had any experience. It's a small police agency in Portugal in a little resort town.

The Portuguese police have never dealt with a case of a missing child. They just don't have the experience. They have made a ton of mistakes, and there's been worldwide scrutiny on them.

I hope the media doesn't rush to judgment here. This is a normal consequence, to look at the family, to look at them closely.

It's a disgusting trend, and anybody who defends it is absolutely wrong.

The one thing that bothers me is who speaks for the victims?

I think that this is the most disturbing trend is -- I have been -- I have been doing 'America's Most Wanted' for 20 years, and I have never seen the incredible level of violence.

People have to wake up and say we have to get involved, we've got to do something about this.

I think that we see a tremendous increase in the homicide rates, for example, and violent crimes, because we have this whole culture of disenfranchised young people.

I think we have to say, quick shaking our heads and say, isn't this terrible, isn't this scary? Got to reach out, places like Boys and Girls clubs are kind of doing their job all alone in inner cities particularly.

I think the ball is back in Michael Satz's court, the Broward County prosecutor's court, to thoroughly look at this case.

When he kidnapped this boy, he probably broke him down psychologically. And Shawn Hornbeck did what he had to do to survive.

I think they should realize the gravity of these cases and it isn't what you see on television. There aren't a whole bunch of forensic CSI labs. The bad guy doesn't always get caught. There isn't justice for the victims.

Still a human being that was murdered, and that family somewhere, whether they're in Mexico, or Central America, would like to know what happened to their loved one.

I think it's a matter of time. I mean, this East Coast gate cutters crew is a brazen group of guy whose go into malls, usually at closing time, I mean around 9 o'clock when malls close and people are leaving, et cetera, and they slide…

I always hold out hope that these cases will be solved and an individual person, especially in these old cold cases, can make a difference.

We need to have better exchange of information and we should put that priority, because I've said to you before, justice delayed is not always justice denied.

I think these guys are catchable. Some of the cases we're talking about today I know in the bottom of my heart will probably never be solved.
