I have been a strong advocate for a national missile defense system, and I am encouraged by the progress since legislation was first introduced in 1998.

I question whether we are doing all that is technically feasible, today, to address complex threats and large raid sizes.

Well, my reaction to the testimony of the last witness is that there are many more negative factors that should be considered by our Committee than positive ones if this merger or acquisition goes through.

What we are doing here, if this is approved, is you are importing a radically different economic system in a system in which we espouse free-market, and that is a potential for conflict, as I see it.
