Mississippi's coasts are impacted by numerous coastal hazards, including hurricanes and other major coastal storms, storm surge, inundation flooding, and subsidence in erosion, coupled with sea-level rise.

NOAA is a global leader in climate research, observing all the world's oceans and major seas.

I have seen, with some Federal agencies over the years that they have a cavalier attitude towards protecting America's national secrets.

They got to the top by cheating and stealing, and now, they are at the top or beyond.

Why were private prisons--what is the history behind the private prisons?

So, addressing those release for home confinement, do these folks ever go back to prison?

It is my opinion that cutting off visitors created a huge problem.

Border security is national security. It is a no-brainer.

This President, in his 3 short years, he made a commitment to rebuild our military, strengthen our Nation, and put America first, and he has fulfilled--and he is fulfilling those commitments.

I think it is kind of a shame that, you know, if some of the people on the other side of the aisle would put national security and the American people ahead of partisan politics, then he wouldn't have to be, in the terms of my colleague…

You know, something that I like to bring up in these hearings, whether it is DoD or Homeland Security, is a conversation about the Jones Act.

Maybe we need to fund them more.

Removing these drugs before they make it into Mexico is vitally important.

I know several of us are disappointed that we had funding--this committee appropriated funds for a 12th National Security Cutter only to see the President's budget remove those funds.
