I mean, in politics, it's nice just to tell somebody, It's okay to be irresponsible. We'll just bail you out. The only trouble is that, when you allow that to grow to a certain level, the whole country crashes.

If an aircraft costs more to fly but is flown less by more experienced pilots in the Air National Guard component, wouldn't it make fiscal sense to put those aircraft in the Air National Guard rather than the Active Air Force?
