I look forward to working with Chairwoman Waters to improve the Section 8 Program for Americans living in both urban and rural areas.

We hopefully will be able to do this reform, because it's more needed now than ever.

It pains me that we failed in the 109th and 110th Congresses to do the Section 8 reform.

We're going to need to make sure that this program is inclusive and that the reform will allow us to address the housing needs that we have in this country.

I am one of the seven individuals who became a Communist by visiting Cuba about 7 weeks ago in a United States Air Force jet with the approval of the State Department, the Speaker of the House, and the Administration.

I think this is a very serious problem that I take very seriously and personally.
