I’ve seen senators that go along to get along, that hoard their power, that protect themselves, and pacify big money. And then I’ve seen senators who are fighters, people who are determined, who have the strength and the conviction, people who are not afraid to challenge the powers that be, people who want to get big things done … that is our lieutenant governor.
