We’ve been warning for weeks that the Trump administration’s dangerous, sensationalized operations are a threat to our public safety, that someone was going to get hurt. Just yesterday, I said exactly that.

I am taking executive action to reinforce the strong ethical standards we have in Minnesota.

But demonizing an entire group of people by their race and their ethnicity? A very group of people who contribute to the vitality − economic, cultural − of this state, is something I hoped we'd never have to see.

They want a show. We can’t give it to them. We cannot.
