“The words of my colleagues from Minnesota reflect how we all feel at this time; and those of you in the Chamber, I know, are sharing our grief on this very, very sad day. We need to stand united to make sure that infrastructure all around this country is properly maintained and cared for. We don't know the cause of the accident as of yet, but I know that we will do a thorough investigation and do whatever we can to prevent tragedies like this from happening in the future. And to my congressional colleague from the other twin city, Minneapolis, please know that the City of St. Paul stands in solidarity. This is a time for grief for both cities, and we'll do whatever we can to be supportive.”
