There is no justification for this surge.

I am proud that they have finally decided to lead with their morals, that they finally dared to stand up, and that we are all finally listening to our constituents.

At worst, it emphasizes many Americans’ growing concern that the Trump administration uses ICE to surveil political opponents and may interfere with our democracy.

There is no reason for them to fully stop these programs. The only reason they are doing that is for P.R. purposes.
