As a survivor of war, accountability and justice is really important to me.

And it seems like the particular conflict in Syria is being birthed out of a need for the people to have freedom and to actualize democracy.

I believe democracy should not be given; they should be earned by the people.

Education is the greatest equalizer but we also have to first equalize the situation so young people are able to attain that education.
