Ilhan Omar: “What ICE did to these men is a flagrant violation of international law and basic human decency.”

ICE has fatally shot 11 people since Donald Trump’s second term began. These are not isolated incidents. They are the predictable result of a cruel, violent system.

It is past time for Trump to obey the Constitution and end the dangerous, cruel, and illegal naval blockade causing collective punishment against Cuba.

There is no justification for this surge.

I am proud that they have finally decided to lead with their morals, that they finally dared to stand up, and that we are all finally listening to our constituents.
