I have an amendment at the desk. The CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle C of title XII of division A of the bill, add the following: SEC. 12XX. REPEAL OF UNITED STATES INSTITUTE OF PEACE ACT. Effective as of the date of the enactment of this Act, the United States Institute of Peace Act (title XVII of Public Law 98-525; 22 U.S.C. 4601 et seq.) is repealed. The CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 276, the gentleman from Minnesota (Mr. Cravaack) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Minnesota.
