I joined with the Senator from New Jersey to right the spousal abuse provision, and I voted for it. We had some disagreements. We worked out those differences so that those who are adjudicated spousal abusers can't buy a gun. But those who were only accused but not proven can still hold their rights. Those are the facts. The Senator from New Jersey knows it; he failed to say it.
