my friend and a friend of most of ours, Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell of Colorado, is today announcing that he will become a Republican. For a good number of years I have had the privilege to work with this Senator, both in the U.S. House of Representatives and now here in the Senate, and I must tell you that he is a man of great integrity. We have worked on a variety of western issues that are common to both our States and a broad base of our constituency, and it is exciting for me to know that Ben is going to become one of us. I feel very privileged that he has made that choice.
