Angie Craig: “I will continue to call on the House and Senate leadership to please work together and extend the credit immediately.”

I consider myself a progressive.

But the only way we pass any of the progressive policies that all of us here support is by winning elections and taking damn majorities.

The attacks from my opponent fall flat when this moment calls for leaders who can take accountability and take on tough fights – not watch from the sidelines.

In that spirit, I just called the lieutenant governor to congratulate her on her hard-fought victory and to offer her my full and complete support going forward.
