I do not think either my colleague from Minnesota or I could ever put romance in the Tax Code. But I hope we can stop the Tax Code from punishing folks such as the two young folks on our staffs we have talked about who are having to change their plans by postponing a wedding date by more than a month, contrary to their hearts, but because of the dictates of a heartless tax code.
