Mr. Chair, rise in support of this amendment. The Biorefinery, Renewable Chemical, and Biobased Product Assistance Program is a popular and successful program at USDA to support new and emerging technologies for biobased products. This means innovation here at home, and it means opening up new markets to our farmers. I thank my colleague for bringing this amendment forward to provide higher loan guarantees for this program to support a wider variety of projects.
